Elvis Presley’s late daughter Lisa Marie raved about Baz Luhrmann’s biopic about her superstar father, but expressed reservations about the upcoming film about her mother, newly viewed emails show.

Lisa Marie added that she could not understand Coppola’s need to “try to bring my father down to such an incredible film, with the excuse that you are trying to tell my mother’s story, but out of your very dark and dull reality.”
