Close encounters of the third kind is one of my favorite Spielberg films and this poster captures the wonder and madness of it! If you want to order one, you can purchase a 24×36 print here for $70. This is a publisher’s limited edition of 175 and there is also a variant edition of 50 for $75.
The film’s story follows Roy Neary (Richard Dreyfuss), an ordinary worker from Indiana, who has a close encounter with a UFO. Haunted by understanding what he has witnessed, Roy is tormented by a series of visions and musical sounds, which lead him to discover a unique mountainous place. Meanwhile, government officials and scientists are also attracted to this place, preparing for a potential encounter with extraterrestrial beings.
