THE CROWN Season 6, Part 1 Trailer Teases the Paparazzi Frenzy That Lead to Princess Diana’s Death

Netflix has released a new trailer for season 6, part 1 The crown, leading to the final season of the hit show. The new season, which arrives on the streamer on November 16, will focus on the relationship between Princess Diana and Dodi Fayed before their tragic car accident. The second half, consisting of six episodes and premiering on December 14, focuses on Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles. Screen space is also dedicated to Prince William and Prince Harry dealing with their royal duties following their mother’s premature death.

The trailer alludes to the overwhelming media frenzy that played a role in Princess Diana’s death, as well as detailing the family’s relationship with the press following her passing.

Creator of the series Peter Morgan recently spoke to Variety about reports that Princess Diana’s ghost would appear in the final season. “I would never have imagined him as Diana’s ‘ghost’ in the traditional sense,” she said. “It was she who continued to live vividly in the minds of those she left behind. Diana was unique and I guess that’s what inspired me to find a unique way to represent her. She deserved special treatment from a narrative perspective.

The cast is present Imelda Staunton in the role of Queen Elizabeth II, Jonathan Price in the role of Prince Philip, Lesley Manville as Princess Margaret, Dominic West as Prince Charles, Elizabeth Debicki in the role of Princess Diana, Claudia Harrison in the role of Princess Anna, Olivia Williams as Camilla Parker Bowles, Bertie Carvel as Tony Blair, Salim Daw in the role of Mohamed Al Fayed, e Khalid Abdalla in the role of Dodi Fayed. Rufus Kampa AND Ed McVey plays Prince William at different ages, while Fflyn Edwards AND Luther Ford plays Prince Harry. Meg Bellamy plays Kate Middleton.
