Lionsgate has released an exciting trailer for an upcoming film titled A place on the pitch. This is an international veteran film that centers on a fallen soldier.
In the film, “Veteran Gio’s lonely life is shaken when he receives the ashes of a fallen soldier friend – and a final request to go on a journey to bury them. Gio and his friend Herbert leave for California, but car problems and Gio’s battlefield flashbacks slow down their progress… Will Gio be able to find the courage to face his demons and still keep the promise he made to his long-lost companion?
The film is said to tell a “powerful and profound story of loss, friendship, perseverance and the will to move forward that dramatizes each vet’s long journey to freedom.”
The film was directed by Nikki Mejia and becomes the protagonist Don Di Petta like Scuderi, Khorri Ellis, Kelvin Delgado, Mischel Prada, Ashlee BrianAND Jeremy Luca. This seems like a solid, heartfelt film that might be worth checking out. I like stories like this that actually have depth and meaning.
Lionsgate will release A place on the field in select theaters on November 10, 2023 and also on VOD on November 18.
