Richard Roundtree has died and Hollywood is reacting to the news and remembering the late actor.
Samuel L. Jackson was one of the first celebrities to endorse Roundtree’s collaboration with the reboot of Golf. Jackson said Roundtree’s death “not only leaves a deep hole in my heart.”
Gabrielle Union, who worked with Roundtree on the television series be mary janetook to social media to express what a “dream” it was to share scenes with him.
“Working with Richard Roundtree was a dream. To deal with his and ours be mary jane Family was always a fun time with the best stories and laughs,” Union posted on X, the social network formerly known as Twitter. “He was ALWAYS the coolest guy in the room with the BEST vibe and people literally ran to see him. He was just the best and we all loved him.”
