A new trailer has been released for the Christmas horror comedy titled There’s something in the barn. This movie looks like some good horror-fueled fun! The story is set in Norway and revolves around evil murderous elves who go on a rampage and start terrorizing a family! It’s a perfect movie to watch this holiday season with your family!
In the film, “an American family realizes their dream of returning to their roots after inheriting a remote cabin in the mountains of Norway. However, a big surprise awaits them. In the barn of the house lives an elf with a bad temper. When the family begins to enrage the creature, a harsh and bloody fight for survival ensues.”
The film was directed by Magnus Martens (The Walking Dead: World Beyond, Fear of The Walking DeadAND 12 monkeys) and said of the film: “The barn elves are deeply rooted in Norwegian folklore and tradition. They are in our souls and part of our culture. Making a movie about a foreign family that doesn’t understand them, then annoys the hell out of them, and then has to fight them, makes perfect sense. The only strange thing is that it’s never been done before.”
She added: “I love Christmas movies as much as the next person and having two children, I have watched them over the years over the holidays. But what we all seem to be missing is a film that has a new, fresh and original approach, without losing the classic Christmas spirit. I truly believe There’s Something in the Barn is what people are looking for.
Movie stars Martin Starr, Amrita AchariaAND Jeppe Beck Laursen and will be released on November 10th.
