Here’s a trailer for an upcoming popular horror thriller Lord of bad government, and it looks like it’s going to be a great movie that tells a disturbing story. I like horror films based on folklore and it looks like it’s worth watching!
The film comes from the director of The boy AND Orphan: First kill, William Brent Belland becomes the protagonist Ralph Ineson (The witch, the green knight), who appears to be the leader of some sort of sinister pagan cult that kidnaps a priest’s young girlfriend.
The film follows “Rebecca Holland (Tuppence Middleton), who recently took on the role of parish priest of a small town. When his young daughter Grace (Evie Templeton) disappears at the local harvest festival, a desperate search begins. The closer they get to finding Grace, the more secrets emerge from the city’s dark past. Soon Rebecca will have to decide how much she is willing to sacrifice to save her daughter from the grip of evil.”
The film’s screenplay was written by Tom de Ville (The silent ones) and the film seems to have been inspired by films like The wicker man AND Mid summer.
The magnet release will be released Lord of bad government in theaters and on VOD December 8, 2023.
