THE OFFICE showrunner Greg Daniels responds to rumors of a reboot of the beloved series

Rumors have been circulating for years that NBC may be working on a reboot of the fan-favorite sitcom The officebut they have increased in recent months and showrunners Greg Daniels he finally responded to the chatter, shyly telling Collider:

“Well, I think it’s very speculative. The fact that it blew up based on a line in a Puck piece was pretty cool, I guess, in the sense that the fans still care a lot. But the thing I would say is, when we it will be something to announce, I will definitely announce it.”

This isn’t the first time Daniels has tackled a reboot, previously stating that it’s “not impossible” for something to happen, but he certainly doesn’t want to rush into a decision and disappoint fans.
