We are in the midst of Halloween season and The Simpsons is getting ready to unleash Treehouse of Horror XXXIV. I’ve always enjoyed the Treehouse of Horrors Halloween specials and the official synopsis for the next Halloween special has been revealed.
In Treehouse of Horror XXXIV, “Bart is turned into an NFT and Marge must fight through the Blockchain to save him; Lisa turns to a killer from her past; An epidemic turns the residents of Springfield into a plague of lazy, beer-loving idiots.
Then there is another segment that is a parody of the 1991 classic The Silence of the Lambsand sees “Lisa transforms into a killer from her past.”
Treehouse of Horror XXXIV it’s not scheduled to premiere until November 5, 2023, which is a few days after the Halloween season ends, which doesn’t seem to make sense… but, whatever. It will keep the Halloween season alive for a little while longer.
