INVINCIBLE Season 3 is already in development

INVINCIBLE Season 3 is already in development

A new trailer was released over the weekend at New York Comic Con Invincible Season 2, but it was also revealed that Season 3 is already in development! Yeah, I guess this shouldn’t be a surprise as a creator Robert Kirkmann he said his goal for the series would include 7 or 8 seasons.

Of course, there are no details to share about Season 3 as Season 2 hasn’t premiered yet. But if you want an indication of what you can expect… read the comics. He talked about what he’s seen from the development of the show’s third season, saying:

“I saw the animations of every episode (in season 3). So I saw things moving. I saw the actors all edited together. I saw our amazing team of directors and all the artists on the board have some form of the show together. And so I’ve seen the whole season in rough, structured form. I’ve seen all the moves that I’ve seen where the season ends and it’s really cool. Like I said, it’s an escalation show. The first season was to the point where where it is, season two is where it is. Season three is a little bit higher. And so it’s hard to talk about season three now because no one’s seen season two yet, but it’s really nice to be this far along we are. and we have the confidence to know, “Oh, do you like the first season? If you like season one, you’ll love season two, and if you really love season two, you’ll really love season three.” .’ So yeah, we have a pretty broad view of what we’ve been doing behind the scenes. And so now it’s just a process of wrapping it all up so we can finally share it with the world.”

Speaking previously about the future of the animated series, Kirkman said:

“I’m trying not to reduce it to a number, because it’s kind of a moving target. I think seven to eight seasons seems to be enough. But there may be some things that we advance a little faster, some things that we expand. If we’re lucky enough to last long, I think it would be enough to cover the entire comic. And there are some things along the way that didn’t make it into the comic that I’d like to do. I think it would be nice to have a few episodes here and there that are completely original. So that’s part of the plan moving forward.

He also spoke about the development of the series in general, saying:

“This is a very complicated show. There’s a lot of work to do. Making an animated series is a bit like assembling a factory and running it, and now that we have everything in place, this will be the longest time.” There will never be a gap between seasons. From this point on, any gaps between seasons will be smaller.”

The series’ story revolves around 18-year-old Mark Grayson, who is just like any other boy his age, except his father is (or was) the most powerful superhero on the planet. Still reeling from Nolan’s betrayal in Season 1, Mark struggles to rebuild his life while facing a series of new threats, all while battling his greatest fear: that he might father him without even knowing it.

The series is the protagonist Steven Yeunwith Sandra Oh, Zazie Beetz, Gray DeLisle, Chris Diamantopoulos, Walton Goggins, Gillian Jacobs, Jason Mantzoukas, Ross Marquand, Khary Payton, Zechariah Quintus, Andrew Rannells, Kevin Michael Richardson, Seth RogenAND JK Simmons.

The second season of Invincible will arrive on Prime Video on November 3rd.
