Video restorer NASS has remastered old footage of New York City in the 1940s, improving its color, sound and overall look. It also increased the resolution to HD and the speed to 60 fps. The video came with the following note:

I love watching these videos because they give us a fascinating look at what life was like in a time that many of us never got to see with our own eyes.
