Only a few days ago we reported the TV series to you Clothes broke another Nielsen streaming record by extending its streak atop the weekly Top 10 to 12 consecutive weeks. The series originally aired on USA Network from 2011 to 2019 with nine seasons. The show, about a New York law firm, stars Gabriele Macht AND Patrick J. Adamsas well as Sarah Rafferty, Rick HoffmannAND Meghan Markle in her final role before becoming a British royal.
Now, with the success and newfound popularity of the series upon its streaming debut, the creator, Aaron Korsh, is in development with NBCUniversal to bring some sort of reboot spinoff to the screen. It’s pretty smart to strike while the iron is hot, and now that the series has a fan base both old and new, there’s no doubt it will do well.
Deals are still being negotiated, but Deadline reports that the project is expected to be fast-tracked with serious effort.
This isn’t a revival or a reboot, and unlike 2019’s Pearson, the new legal procedural isn’t even a spin-off: It would be a Suits universe series in the vein of the CSI and NCIS franchises with new characters in a new location, the sources said. . Los Angeles is a considered setting for workplace drama.
I would definitely give this new series a chance. I loved the flagship series and think they could do another great show in a new city. Will you be tuning in if this goes ahead?
