Peacock has released a hilarious trailer for the comedy Please Don’t Destroy: The Treasure of Foggy Mountainfrom Saturday night live trio of writers, Ben Marshall, John HigginsAND Martin Herlihy, who co-wrote the screenplay and starred in the film. They are joined in the cast by Conan O’Brien, Bowen Yang, Meg Stalter, X Mayo, Nicola Sakura, Cedric YarbroughAND Sunita Maniwith John Goodman as a narrator. The film was directed by SNL director Paolo Briganti.
The synopsis reads:
In Please Don’t Destroy: The Treasure of Foggy Mountain, John Goodman chronicles the adventures of Ben, Martin and John, three childhood friends turned slacker colleagues, who must fend off hairless bears and desperate park rangers (played by Meg Stalter and X Mayo) and a hypocritical cult leader (Bowen Yang) in hopes of finding a priceless treasure, only to discover that finding the treasure is the easiest part of their journey. Oh, and Conan O’Brien plays Ben’s father.
It looks really fun. I love a good silly comedy with self-deprecating jokes and a slew of cameos from the SNL cast. Check out the trailer below and watch Please Don’t Destroy: The Treasure of Foggy Mountain on Peacock on November 17.
