Apple TV+ has released a new full trailer for the fourth season of its fantastic sci-fi drama series For all humanity! The trailer offers new details about the story, which focuses on a mission to capture and mine a mineral-rich asteroid that has the power to change the future of Earth and Mars.
The next chapter of the story is set eight years after the events of the third season and Happy Valley has rapidly expanded its presence on Mars and the former enemies are now partners. As you might imagine, there are still simmering tensions among the residents of the international base, and those tensions threaten to shatter everything they’re working for.
The series as a whole explores what would have happened if the global space race had never ended. The series presents an ambitious world in which NASA astronauts, engineers and their families find themselves at the center of extraordinary events seen through the prism of an alternate timeline: a world in which the USSR beats the United States to the moon.
As for season four, the synopsis reads: “Soaring into the new millennium in the eight years since season three, Happy Valley has rapidly expanded its presence on Mars by turning former enemies into partners. In 2003, the space program’s focus turned to capturing and mining extremely valuable, mineral-rich asteroids that could change the future of both Earth and Mars. But simmering tensions among residents of the expanding international base threaten to undo everything they’re working for.”
For all humanity was created by Ronald D. Moore together with the showrunners of the series Ben Nedivi AND Matt Wolpert. He is also the protagonist Joel Kinnaman, Shantel VanSanten, Jodi Balfour, Sonya Walger, Krys Marshall, Edi Gathegi, Cynthy Wu, Casey W. Johnson, Coral Peña with Wren Schmidt.
