Max has released the first trailer for a cool looking sci-fi animated series titled, Kingdom of street cleaners. The series follows the crew of a damaged cargo ship in deep space who become stranded on a beautiful but dangerous planet.
The project was co-created by Joseph Bennett AND Charles Huettner and is the sequel to their popular 2016 animated short Street cleaners. It looks like this series will tell a crazy and intense story! This trailer definitely piqued my interest.
Kingdom of street cleaners follows “a number of survivors who become stranded on an alien planet after their interstellar cargo ship is damaged. The various groups try to survive and perhaps even escape, navigating a complex ecosystem that they can only begin to understand and that was never intended for them.”
The series features the voices of Wunmi Mosaku in the role of Azi, Bob Stephenson as Sam, Sunita Mani like Ursula, Ted Travelstead like Kamen, and Alia Shawkat like Levi. Guest stars include the voices of Pollyanna McIntosh like Kris, Dash Williams as Barry, Freddy Rodriguez as Terrence, Sepideh Moafi like Mia, and Skyler Gisondo like Charlie.
The series will premiere on Max on October 19.
