The Hollywood writers’ strike is over, and we’re finally back on track to picking up our favorite shows that have been on the back burner. One of these is the highly anticipated fifth and final season of Netflix’s hit series, Stranger things. One person ready to talk about the show is the director Dan Trachtenbergwho previously directed films 10 Cloverfield Lane AND Preyas well as episodes of Black mirror AND The boyswho is facing an episode of Stranger things in its final season.
Trachtenberg recently spoke with Collider (via CB) about Stranger Things and teased that it will be “awesome.”
“I was preparing it before the strike and I was doing previews for sequences and things like that. It’s amazing! I’m doing it because I love that show so much. I think every season has gotten better, better and better, and this is the last one. ” , and the Duffers are geniuses and good, really good guys. And this episode, which is just “one episode” of season five, has several great scenes and is going to be great, man. It’s a great season, and, so far, everything is fantastic.”
Trachtenberg’s involvement with Stranger things it was announced in June. Netflix had previously announced:
“Get ready to return to Hawkins, Indiana. The fifth season of Stranger Things is getting closer and a new member joins the group: 10 Cloverfield Lane director Dan Trachtenberg will direct an episode of the upcoming final season of the show. knows nothing yet about which episode the director will direct, but it is an eminently qualified set of hands.”
I just know that this fifth season will be an amazing final chapter in the story we all love. There’s no official release date yet, the show’s IMDb page only says it will return in 2025. Seasons 1-4 are now available to watch on Netflix.
