America’s most extreme haunted house explored in Hulu’s MONSTER INSIDE trailer

Hulu has released a trailer for a crazy looking horror documentary called Monster insideand explore the horrors inside America’s most extreme hunting lodge, McKamey Manor.

I love going to haunted houses during the Halloween season and I know McKamey Manor. It’s one of those places I’ve been curious to visit, but after seeing the trailer for this doc… that’s probably not going to happen. The place is run by Russ McKamey and he comes across as a complete psychopath.

This Huluween documentary film “tells the story of Russ McKamey, the Navy veteran turned master of horror, who draws horror enthusiasts into his net. They find themselves thrust into the no-holds-barred world of McKamey Manor, a gathering place that doesn’t end until Russ says so. By cultivating an online persona and cult-like following, Russ was allowed to display his baser instincts and rewarded with online fame and notoriety. Driven by his personal fixations, he has transformed his backyard hangout into a veritable torture chamber: filming the “competitors”, particularly vulnerable young women, as he sees how far he can push them, both inside and outside of the meeting.

It appears that the people who passed through McKamey Manor experienced a complete and utter nightmare. It doesn’t seem like any of these horror fans remember their torture experience fondly.

The documentary blends “documentary storytelling with the visual and cinematic language of a horror film, Monster Inside follows three participants as they immerse themselves deeply in Russ’s world and then find the will to fight back.”

Monster Inside: America’s Most Extreme Haunted Mansion is directed by Andrea Renzi (Fishtail, They Fight, Ready for War, Untold: Jake Paul, the Problem Childand the Pepsi, where’s my jet?).
