Fans are excited to see what James Gunn will have to do with his portrayal of the Man of Steel in his next film, Superman: Legacy. The director has already chosen the cast David Corenswet like Superman, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Nathan Fillion as Green Lantern, Isabela Mercede like Hawkgirl, and Edi Gathegi as Michael Holt/Mr. Terrific.

Now we have information to share regarding an intriguing rumor involving a couple of characters who might appear in the film and who might play them. The r/DCEULeaks page has shared some information from what they claim is a verified source.

The report states that they have spoken to someone who claims to have personally seen and worked on some of them Superman: Legacythe concept art of.

According to this leaker, they saw Jor-El and say:

“He’s drawn like he’s tall, and I mean REALLY tall. Like, at least over 7 feet. His costume is sort of a mix between armor and fabric, with the armor parts being like a light blue and the fabric being It’s crystal clear.” white. He has a blue House of El crest on his chest that lights up, like an LED. And here’s the fun part. Take this with a grain of salt, as a lot of concept art uses random actors’ faces on the characters, but the specific art I saw features Kurt Russell’s face on Jor-El.”

Kurt Russell! Would be great! And the actor has worked with Gunn before Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2where he played Star-Lord’s otherworldly father, Ego, so a cameo role as Jor-El would make sense.

This has also been reported Skyler Gisondo’S (Santa Clarita Diet, The precious stones of the righteous) the face is said to have been added to Jimmy Olsen’s concept art, and artwork depicting a Brainiac Drone is also said to have been seen. While this doesn’t necessarily mean the villain will be in the film, the groundwork could be laid for a future appearance. Appearance-wise, it’s “a generic gray robot with green highlights” that features Brainiac’s “signature headgear.”

Superman: Legacy tells the story of Superman’s journey to reconcile his Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing as Clark Kent of Smallville, Kansas. He is the embodiment of truth, justice and the American way, guided by human kindness in a world that sees kindness as old-fashioned.
