A beautiful second trailer for the Netflix documentary has been released Life on our planetNarrated by Morgan Freeman. Silverback Films, the team behind award-winning docuseries Our planetcollaborated with Steven SpielbergAmblin Entertainment to create Life on our planet.
The documentary will feature 65 extinct animals across the series’ eight installments, including Lystrosaurus, Woolly Mammoths, Plateosaurus, Anchiornis, and Tyrannosaurus Rex, to name a few. Each chapter will also address Earth’s rich history, such as mass extinction events, life under the ocean, how life invaded the earth, the history of the reptilian giants, the aftermath of the asteroid that destroyed the planet, the rise of mammals and… the ice age.
The document description reads:
“This is the story of life’s epic battle to conquer and survive on planet Earth. Today 20 million species live on our planet, but what we see is only a snapshot of time: 99% of the earth’s inhabitants are lost in our deep past. The story of what happened to these dynasties – their rise and their fall – is truly extraordinary.”
