LANCER TTRPG is getting a physical edition next year courtesy of Dark Horse

Dark Horse Books and Massif Press recently announced that they will collaborate on the publication Lancer tabletop roleplaying game core book. This is a physical version of the mud and laser tabletop RPG core book called Lancer set 15,000 years in the future. The game revolves around modular mechs and their pilots after humanity survives a near-collapse. I always love a good mecha game/show, so I’ll definitely want to check this one out.

LANCER is a mud and laser tabletop role-playing game with modular mechs and the pilots who equip them. 15,000 years in the future, humanity has survived the near-collapse and has since expanded further and further beyond the frontiers of space. Organized by UNION, the central hegemon of the populated galaxy, there is a rich and vast society rooted in whimsical technology and artificial intelligence. In the heart of the Union, the dream of human utopia has been realized, but LANCER is set at the trembling edges of space and time, where the Union’s utopian project has not yet arrived.

Lancer was originally funded on Kickstarter and the PDF version of the file Lancer core book it’s available on their website for $25 (there’s a free version available to try before you commit). The physical version of Lancer core book will contain everything you need to play and run the game and will be available in bookstores on June 11, 2024 and in comic shops on June 12, 2024 with pre-orders now open for $59.99.
