Netflix has released a trailer for their intense thriller Correctnesshero Phoebe Dynevor (Minor, Bridgerton) AND Alden Ehrenreich (Solo: A Star Wars Story, Oppenheimer). The film, which will be released both theatrically and via streaming, was written and directed by Chloe Domontwho had previously worked on the series Dancersas well as Star Trek: The Discovery AND Billions.
The synopsis reads:
When a coveted promotion at a cutthroat financial firm comes along, the exchanges of support between lovers Emily (Phoebe Dynevor) and Luke (Alden Ehrenreich) begin to transform into something more sinister. As the power dynamics irrevocably shift in their relationship, the couple must face the true price of success and the disturbing limits of ambition. In her feature debut, writer-director Chloe Domont weaves a tense relationship thriller, nailing the destructive gender dynamics that pit partners against each other in a world that’s transforming faster than the rules can keep up.
It seems like an interesting character study and looks at power struggles within a relationship. Check out the trailer below and watch Correctness in select theaters on September 29th and on Netflix on October 6th.
