Netflix has released a fun first trailer for the film Bill Burr-direct comedy Old dads. Burr also stars in the next film Bobby Cannavale AND Bokeem Woodbine. I like Burr’s style of comedy and his stand-up comedy, and this movie seems like a hilarious representation of that.
In the film, “Three best friends become fathers later in life and find themselves battling preschool principals, millennial CEOs, and anything created after 1987.” Burr plays a middle-aged father in the story, and when he and his two best friends sell their company to a millennial, “they soon find themselves out of step and out of step with the times as they struggle to navigate a changing world of culture, career and… fatherhood.”
Old dads was written by Bill Burr AND Ben Tishlerand he is also the protagonist Katie Aselton, Kingdom Edwards, Rachel Harris, Miles RobbinsAND Jackie Tohn.
Old dads will debut on the streaming platform on Friday 20 October.
