Anakin Skywalker seems to have fulfilled his destiny as the chosen one thanks to the balance between the light and dark sides of the Force

It was really nice to see Ahsoka reunite with her Master Anakin Skywalker Star Wars: Ahsoka Episode 5, “The Shadow Warrior”. There was a lot to explain in this episode as Anakin is trying to complete Ahsoka Tano’s training, and in the meantime, we see Anakin flash between Anakin and Dark Vader. It seems that he can seamlessly transition between the light and dark sides, and it is possible that he has fulfilled his destiny as the Chosen One.

I recently came across a fan theory that makes perfect sense to me and ties into some deep mythology The Clone Wars.

The theory is based on The Clone Wars story in which Anakin, Ahoska and Obi-Wan Kenobi find themselves in the World Between Worlds, also known as Mortis. It is a supernatural realm where they encounter three gods of the Force, which include the Father, the Son, and the Daughter. The Son is a representation of the dark side, while the Daughter is a representation of the light side, and then there is the Father, who is the balance between the light and the dark.

The Father wants Anakin to take his place as “the Father”, but Anakin does not accept the offer and leaves. Later, in the next episode, the trio returns to Mortis and by the end of their adventure the three gods are dead. The next time we see the gods, it will be on a mural Star Wars Rebels at the entrance to the World between Worlds.

The theory is that when we see Anakin in Ahsoka, he actually became “the Father.” Reddit user lexE5839 explains that the Anakin we see in Episode 5 is “vaguely as we once knew him.” He added:

“However, I believe he ascended and became the Father. His ability to change between the light and dark sides at will, have a completely tangible body in the World Between Worlds, and even summon Ahsoka in simulations of physical environments from past battles had together it would indicate that he has tremendous power. This is purely my headcanon, but I believe that Anakin saved Ahsoka from death, perhaps because he chose to, but if he really is the Father it was probably the will of the Force.

He goes on to call Anakin a “true master”, as he is able to wield both the light and dark sides in fantastic ways that are unprecedented in the cinematic world. Star Wars universe. He continues:

“The Father seemed to have an unparalleled understanding of the will of the Force, and his children were the balance between good and evil. I like to think that in the eyes of the Force Anakin served his destiny by destroying both the Jedi and the Sith, allowing then both of them to rebuild themselves. His fall as Vader and his subsequent redemption proved that he was entirely neither light nor dark. As Father, Anakin would follow the will of the Force and ensure balance in the universe, guiding those who they needed it. to their destinies.”

The Reddit user goes on to say that this “would be a touching and fitting fate for the Chosen One, and would prevent his sacrifice from being tampered with like Vader,” and also believes that Anakin “has transcended into a being who maintains the balance of the world” . Strength that he created.”

I have no idea if this is true or not, but I love this theory and it makes sense to me that Anakin’s story continues after death. It was prophesied that Anakin would bring balance to the Force, and now he has become the embodiment of that balance. What do you think!?
