The series Billy the baby continues with a second season and the first trailer for the next chapter of the saga has been released. The series is an epic and romantic adventure inspired by the lives of America’s most infamous outlaws. The first season of this series was amazing and I couldn’t wait to see the story continue.
The series follows Billy the Kid, also known as William H. Bonney, “from his humble Irish roots, to his early days as a cowboy and gunslinger in the American frontier, to his key role in the Lincoln County War and beyond.
In season two, “Billy and his allies clash with his old friend Jesse Evans and the corrupt powers of the Santa Fe Ring. When the shots are fired, the conflict explodes into the bloody Lincoln County War. In the midst of the fighting, Billy will struggle to hold on to his soul and the love of his life.”
The series is the protagonist Tom Blyth (The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes) in the role of “William H. Bonney” e Daniel Webber (Escape from Pretoria) as Jesse Evans, another famous outlaw and leader of the Seven Rivers Gang. When they meet, Jesse has already embraced a life of crime: shoplifting and cattle rustling. Billy is attracted by his wild and reckless character and becomes a sort of doppelganger of Billy: his shadow self, forever inviting him to the dark side of life.
The series was created, written and produced by Michael Hirstwho was also behind the hit series Vikings. There’s a reason this series is so good and it’s back to work on season two.
The series will be released on MGM+ on October 15.
