The first trailer for has been released The Simpsons Season 35, yes, this animated series has been around for 35 damn years! How crazy is that!? I still can’t believe it’s still going strong! It was also renewed for season 36 earlier this year, and The Simpsons is officially the longest-running primetime series in TV history. It’s a nice result.
This season, “Marge experiences a series of nightmares about young Bart’s childhood coming to an end. Homer accidentally volunteers for a crossing guard position at the school; sixty years in the future, Lisa tells the story of how Homer was the scapegoat for a power outage that plunged Springfield into darkness days before Thanksgiving; and the annual chilling trilogy ‘Treehouse of Horror XXXIV’ is back!”
As for Homer as a school crossing guard, a premiere description explains, “when his security team receives too much funding, the crossing guards become a force to be feared in the all-new ‘Homer’s Crossing’ episode of “The Simpsons.” .””
We’ll also see the return of Kelsey Grammer’s Sideshow Bob and the apparent destruction of 742 Evergreen Terrace!
The Simpsons premieres Sunday, October 1 on FOX.
