Taika Waititi comments on his STAR WARS movie, hinting that he’s not finished with the script

The director previously said that he was still trying to come up with an idea for the film and that he’s “still throwing everything at the wall.” He later explained that he still hasn’t fully understood his idea of ​​him and isn’t even 100% sure that his film will be made. Now it appears he still has his script finished.

Waititi recently showed up at the Toronto International Film Festival’s Tribute Awards to honor him Free boy director Shawn Levy with the first Norman Jewison Career Achievement Award. During his speech, Waititi mentioned Levy’s planned Star Wars movie and meanwhile commented on his Star Wars project saying:

“Unlike me, let’s hope he can finish a script for that.”
