The release comes as Marvel Studios is developing a revival animated series titled X-Men ’97which many fans are quite excited about.
The original animated television series ran from 1992 to 1997, bringing Marvel’s X-Men comics to the small screen. The show dives into the world of mutants and the challenges they face in a society that fears and distrusts them. The series focuses on the X-Men team, led by Professor Charles Xavier, which includes iconic characters such as Wolverine, Cyclops, Storm, Rogue and Jean Grey.
Over the course of the series, the X-Men face both external threats, such as the evil Magneto and the Sentinels, and internal conflicts within their team, all while grappling with themes of prejudice, acceptance, and the nature of humanity. The show is praised for its mature storytelling, character development, and its faithful adaptation of major story arcs from the comics.
