THE Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey The slasher horror film is already in production and the first photos from the film offer the first look at the return of Winnie The Pooh’s sadistic killer.
Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey 2 will also contain the characters Christopher Robin, Piglet and Owl. It will be interesting to see how they are imagined in this dark and sinister version of the classic and beloved world of Winnie The Pooh.
THR reports: “Currently in production, the sequel will have a bigger budget, more kills and even an Olivier Award-winning and BAFTA-nominated star in the form of Simone Callow (Four weddings and a funeral), who joined the cast.”
Writer and director Rhys Frake-Waterfield: “Bigger and badder. The sequel will feature new creature designs, a new cast, and a high body count. However, this time Pooh and his friends will leave the Hundred Acre Wood to fight in the quiet community of Ashdown!”
Producer Scott Jeffrey he added: “For our sequel we have a substantially higher budget, so Rhys is truly capable of creating a shocking, explosive and blood-filled film. I really think people will really appreciate what we’re creating.
The cast for Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey 2 also includes Tallulah Evans, Scott Chambers (Doctor Jekill) in the role of Christopher Robin, Ryan Olivia (House of Condiments) as Winnie-the-Pooh and Peter DeSouza-Feighoney (The Pope’s exorcist) as young Pooh.
The film’s screenplay was written by Matt Leslie (Summer of ’84).
