R. L. Stine’S Goose bumps is returning as a new series coming to Disney+ and today we have a teaser trailer offering a first look. It was also announced that the series will premiere on Friday, October 13!
The Goosebumps series “follows a group of five high schoolers as they embark on a dark and twisted journey to investigate the tragic disappearance three decades earlier of a teenager named Harold Biddle, while also unearthing dark secrets from their parents’ past.”
In the story, “Three decades after the death of a teenager named Harold Biddle, friends throw a Halloween party at his old house, bringing a new haunted reality to life. As the boys work together to save their city, they make some chilling discoveries about their own families.
As for the release, The Wrap says, “The adaptation launches October 13 on both Disney+ and Hulu with the first five episodes of the series airing as part of Disney+’s ‘Hallowstream’ and Hulu’s ‘Huluween’ celebrations . Subsequent installments of the 10-episode series will be released weekly. The first two episodes of Goose bumps will also air on October 13 on Freeform during the “31 Nights of Halloween” programming.
The first episode of the series will be directed by Rob Lettermanwho directed 2015 Goose bumps movie. He is also a writer and executive producer Nick Stoller.
The series is the protagonist Justin Long, Rachel Harris, Ana Yi Puig, Miles McKenna, Price, Zack Morris AND Isa Briones.
