CHCKEN RUN: DAWN OF THE NUGGET Hilarious Trailer Sees Ginger and Rocky on a Mission to Rescue Chicken-Lind

Netflix has released the first teaser trailer Chicken Run: The Dawn of the Nugget. This film is the sequel to the classic 2000 stop-motion animated comedy Chicken run, and it looks like a good time! I watched that first movie so many times because my daughter loved it so much and watched it over and over again! He’s in college now, which blows my mind.

In the film, “For Ginger and her flock, all is on the line as the perils of the human world come to a head; they will stop at nothing, even if it means risking their own hard-won freedom to save the chickens. This time they are raiding!

The trailer teases the challenges Ginger and Rocky will face as they embark on a mission to take down Ms. Tweedy’s evil operation that poses a horrific threat.

The film was directed by Sam Fell, who shared in a statement: “They say a film is only as good as its villain and Ginger’s nemesis, Mrs Tweedy is one of the all-time greats. She now she wants to take revenge on an industrial scale on all kinds of chickens with “Dawn of the Nugget”. Miranda has a unique understanding of drama and comedy, she makes you laugh while she scares the shit out of you at the exact same moment. Rounding out our fantastic cast is Peter Serafinowicz as Reginald Smith, a somewhat bewildered businessman visiting Mrs. Tweedy’s gigantic nugget factory.”

The voice cast of the film includes Thanks Newton as Ginger, who creates a peaceful haven away from the human world after recently escaping from the evil Tweedy farm. She is joined by Bella Ramsey like Molly E Zechariah Levi in the role of Rocky. Ginger and Rocky have been voiced in the original movie since Julia Sawalha AND Mel Gibson.

Miranda Richardson (Good omens) will reprise her role as arch villain Mrs. Tweedy. She will be joined by the comedian Peter Serafinowiczas hapless businessman Reginald Smith. The rest of the cast includes Jane Horrocks, Imelda Staunton, Lynn Ferguson, Josie Sedgwick-Davies, David Bradley, Romesh Ranganathan, Daniel Mays AND Nick Mohammed.

The franchise was launched by Wallace and Gromit Creator Nick Park and co-founder of Aardman Animations Peter Lord. Chicken run grossed over $225 million at the box office, becoming the highest-grossing stop-motion animated film of all time.

Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget will premiere on Netflix on December 15th. Enjoy the trailer!
