TERRIFIER 3 confirmed to arrive next year in 2024

For those of you who are fans of the Terrifier horror film franchise, it looks like Art the Clown will be back to brutally killing people sooner than expected. Franchise director Damian Leo recently confirmed it Terror 3 it will arrive next year, in 2024.

During an interview with Bloody-Disgusting, Leone revealed this terrifier 2 will hit theaters on November 8 this year. Then he says that Terrifier 3 will be released next year. He shared:

“This year has been unlike anything we could have imagined. To see all the love Terrifier 2 has received and the excitement this release has inspired in fans old and new is beyond words. To the many people we’ve worked tirelessly on this release, we want to bring it back to the big screen where it belongs.And best of all, as fans eagerly await the release of Terrifier 3 next year, we’ll be including some special surprises because one year is just too much. time to wait.”

It will be interesting to see what those special surprises will be. Speaking earlier about the pressure of overcoming the second film’s horrific amounts of gore with Terrifier 3, the director said:

“Sometimes there are sleepless nights where, ‘Oh my God, I can’t let the fans of this franchise down.’ They’re always expecting the next big kill scene, the next big gory scene. How am I going to complete the now infamous hacksaw scene in part one, and now part two? At conventions I get asked, ‘How are you going to get past the bedroom scene?’ I always want to overcome obstacles and try to see if I can overcome myself compared to the previous installment.

“There was actually a kill that I would put into Terrifier that happened to Jenna Kanell’s character Tara. After the hacksaw scene, there was another torture scene. I knew putting them back to back would completely lose the audience because it would be too much to handle. So that was a kill that I kept on the back burner… I didn’t even put it in the second half. So that’s what I might explore. But there’s another one I thought of about a month ago, where I clicked and said, “This is going to be the next bedroom murder scene” — you’ll know when you see it. I can’t say for sure I’ll ever make it through any of these scenes – it’s always going to be subjective – but you’ll know it when you see it.

There are no plot details to share yet, but we do know that Art the Clown will be back to paint the movie screen in blood. David Howard Thornton he’s going to play Art again and be joined by him Lauren LaVera. It’s also been revealed that Terrifier 3 will have a much bigger budget to work with.

Priscilla Smith of The Coven said: “This time there will be a much bigger budget, which is intended to give the filmmakers more creative freedom and let them be as wild as possible. And, joking aside, this year we will aim for that Oscar”.
