Marvel Studios has a new book out that will help fans keep track of the timeline in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The book is titled The Marvel Cinematic Universe: An Official Timeline and will serve as your official guide to MCU story highlights. Marvel even released a trailer for the book teasing its contents.
President and producer of Marvel Studios Kevin Feige he said: “So many things have happened in our films and in our series. That’s why it’s so exciting to have The Marvel Cinematic Universe: An Official Timeline. Brad Winderbaumexecutive, production and development at Marvel Studios, the book is “the first time we’ve officially established the timeline.”
The book was written by Antonio Breznican, Rebecca Theodore Vachon AND Amy Ratcliffe. The 344-page book deconstructs “every moment” of the MCU’s 15-year history, from 2008’s Iron Man to the upcoming Disney+ series. Loki Season 2.
Breznican said, “Every bit of history mentioned is taken from the movies, TV shows and presented from start to finish.” Theodore-Vachon added, “There’s a lot of story in the MCU. It’s very complex, very interconnected. We’ve covered so many storylines, so many characters, so many different worlds. This book has it all.”
You don’t need the Time Variance Authority to track the official Marvel Cinematic Universe timeline. Marvel Entertainment released the trailer on Monday for the ultimate guide to the MCU’s lore, timelines, and characters, answering the bigger questions: what happened, when, and where.
