First reactions to Netflix’s live-action series ONE PIECE and critics love it

The first reactions for Netflix’s long-awaited live-action series adaptation have started to roll in A piece, and so far the people who have had the opportunity to watch it love it! It’s nice to see because most live-action anime projects get completely beat up, but I always thought this felt like a good time and captured the spirit of the anime.

Well, now the fans and critics who have had a chance to watch the show confirm it! It is said to do justice to the “source material”, others say it is “faithful”, “Excellent”, “Fresh”, “Funny” and “so close to anime”. These are all things I love to hear!

Check out some of the reactions below:

One Piece follows the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy (Inaki Godoy) and his crew of pirates as they explore a fantasy world of endless oceans and exotic islands in search of the world’s greatest treasure known as “One Piece” to become the next Pirate King.

The other main characters include Zoro (Mackenyu), nami (Emily Rudd), Usopp (Jacob Romero Gibson) and Sanji (Taz Skylar).

Steven Maeda is co-writer, showrunner and executive producer of the series along with Matt Owens, who is also a co-writer and executive producer. The series is also the protagonist Morgan Davis (The Evil Dead) as Koby, Ilia Isorelys Paulino (The Sex Life of College Girls) as Alvida, Aidan Scott (Action Point) as Helmeppo, Jeff Ward (Hacks) like Buggy, McKinley Belcher III (Ozark) as Arlong, e Vincent Regan (Troy) as Garp.

The 10-episode series will be released on August 31st!
