20th Century Studios has released a disturbing clip from the director Kenneth Branaghthe next horror and mystery thriller, An infestation in Venice. The clip is titled “Listening” and presents Michelle Yeoh as psychic medium Mrs. Reynolds as she conjures a spirit for her guests. As you can imagine, while his guests are freaking out, Hercule Poirot is curious but skeptical.
An infestation in Venice is based on the novel “Hallowe’en Party” by Agatha Christie and Branagh once again plays the famous detective Hercule Poirot.
The film is set in eerie post-WWII Venice, on the eve of All Saints’ Day, and is a terrifying mystery with the return of the celebrated detective, Hercule Poirot. Now retired and a resident in self-imposed exile in the most glamorous city in the world, Poirot reluctantly attends a séance in a run-down, haunted mansion. When one of the guests is killed, the detective is thrust into a sinister world of shadows and secrets.
The ensemble cast also includes Kyle Allen, Camille Cottin, Jamie Dornan, Tina Fey, Jude Hill, Ali Khan, Emma Laird, Kelly ReillyAND Riccardo Scamarcio.
An infestation in Venice will be released exclusively in theaters on September 15, 2023. Special advance screening events will also be held. I’ve included information about it below the clip.
