STAR TREK DAY 2023 will be hosted by Jerry O’Connell and details are revealed

Star Trek Day 2023 is coming to Friday, September 8, and details on the upcoming celebration of all things will be revealed Star Trek have been revealed! Star Trek: Lower Decks‘ Jerry O’Connell is intended to host the special program that will be broadcast. You can watch a promotional spot for the big event below! It should be fun!

Star Trek Day will include special events Star Trek: Lower Decks screenings in the US, UK and Canada in the run-up to the upcoming fourth season, and there will also be Star Trek: Strange New Worlds specials on CBS and more.

We will also be able to enjoy segments that look back on memorable moments from the last 57 years; commemorate 50 years of Star Trek animation; and pay homage to Star Trek: Discovery ahead of its final season; along with an exclusive preview clip from the upcoming fourth season of Star Trek: Lower Decks.

The Star Trek Day special will be available to watch for free on StarTrek.com/Day, YouTube, Twitch and Facebook. In the United States, the special will be available to stream on Paramount+, Pluto TV and Mixable and will air on select local CBS affiliates, Comedy Central, Paramount Network, Pop TV, Fave TV and Smithsonian.com.

CBS will air the first two episodes of the Paramount+ original series Star Trek: Strange New Worlds in back-to-back specials, beginning at 8:00 PM ET/PT.

  • Episode 101, Series One: “Strange New Worlds” – When one of Pike’s officers goes missing during a secret mission for Starfleet, Pike (Anson Mount) must emerge from self-imposed exile. He must decide how to save his official he, while struggling with what to do with the vision of the future he’s been given.

  • Episode 102: “Children of the Comet” – During a reconnaissance mission, the USS Enterprise discovers that a comet is about to strike an inhabited planet. The crew tries to deflect the comet, only to find that an ancient alien relic buried on the comet’s icy surface is somehow stopping them. As the away team tries to unravel the secrets of the relic, Pike (Anson Mount) and Number One (Rebecca Romijn) face a group of fanatics who want to stop the USS Enterprise from interfering.

In addition, the celebration of Star Trek: The Animated Series will feature an evening of animated comedy, including four specially selected episodes from the hit animated series Star Trek: Lower Decks.

Free screenings will be held in Columbus, Dallas, Denver, Philadelphia, Phoenix, San Diego, St. Louis, Washington DC, Vancouver, Calgary and London. Fans can register for screenings of animated Star Trek celebrations starting today at 9:00am PT/12:00pm ET.
