Netflix has released a fun teaser trailer for its animated coming-of-age musical comedy Leo. The movie comes from Adam Sandler’s Happy Madison and Sandler takes the lead role of Leo the Lizard and talks about the last year of elementary school through the eyes of Leo, who is a class pet. Looks like this is going to be a fun and entertaining movie!
In the film, “74-year-old Jaded lizard Leo (Sandler) has been stuck in the same Florida classroom with his terrarium mate, the turtle, for decades.Bill Burr). When she finds out she has only a year left to live, he plans to run away to experience life on the outside, but instead gets caught up in the troubles of his anxious students, including an incredibly mean substitute teacher. It turns out to be the weirdest yet most rewarding wish list ever…”
The film was co-written and co-directed by SNL comedian Robert Smigel along with his fellow SNL animators Robert Marianetti and David Wachtenheim.
Also includes voice cast Cecilia Strong, Jason Alexander, Sadie Sandler, Sunny Sandler, Rob Schneider, Jo Koi, Jackie Sandler, Heidi Gardner, Roberto Smigel, Nick Swardson, Stephanie HsuAND Nicholas Turturro.
