A dancer discovers she has magic within her in trailer for Hulu series SPELLBOUND

Hulu has released the trailer for their upcoming original series Enchanted. The play follows a teenage ballerina from the United States who travels to Paris to study ballet, only to find upon her arrival that she must re-audition to secure a place in the school. She also comes across evidence that her family has passed down some witch skills and she may be able to use them to her advantage.

The series is the protagonist Hailey Melody Romain, Margherita Barbieri, Abigail O’Regan, Sam Dario, Zac Gabriel Werb, Etienne Moana, Imogen Mackie Walker, Gomolemo Tsagaé, CameronJames King, Rick Young, Raven Dauda, Malou BeauvoirAND Carl Baker.

The synopsis of the show reads:

“When Cece Parker Jones, a vivacious 15-year-old moves from a small town in the United States to France to study at the Paris Opera Ballet School, she is on top of the world. But things turn upside down when she discovers a book of family spells in the back room of her Aunt Ginger’s apothecary. While curious in the book, she unknowingly casts the antidote to a protection spell that has been hiding her identity since she was a child.

“It turns out he’s descended from a line of powerful witches called the Wizen! And in doing so, she summons his nemesis, the mystics, who seek his magic. This fire-breathing teen must now navigate the pressures of an elite dance school, learning new techniques she’s never studied before, keeping up with her intense academics, not to mention her new friendships and maybe a cute boyfriend. …or two, plus her incredible ability to activate magic while keeping this a secret from only her closest friends.
