A new entry has been released by previously announced cast member Mashable Sasheer Zamata (Saturday night live, Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur) will play the role of sorceress Jennifer Kale in Marvel Studios’ upcoming Disney+ series Agatha: Coven of Chaos. The character was first introduced in 1972 by Steven Gerber AND Rich Buckler through Marvel Man-Thing comic series. In the comics, Kale came from a family of sorcerers who are part of the Cult of Zhered-Na. In addition to Man-Thing, he had collaborations with several Marvel characters including Howard the Duck and Doctor Strange, as well as affiliations with Midnight Sons and Legion of Night.
The show will follow the character of Agatha Harkness, played by Kathryn Hahn from WandaVision, and she is joined by co-stars Aubrey Plaza, Sasheer ZamataAND Patti LuPoneas well as David Payton, David Lenge, Asif Ali, Amos Glick, Brian BrightmannAND Kate Forbes. They merge Debora Jo Rupp AND Emma Cafield, who are also returning cast members. The show also stars newcomers Joe LockeMiles Gutiérrez-Riley, Okwui OkpokwasiliAND Maria Dizzia.
This is a rumor for now, but an interesting one that we will confirm when possible. Agatha: Coven of Chaos does not yet have a premiere date, but we will keep you updated.
