The epic five-issue comic series Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin has been adapted into a video game by THQ Nordic and the presentation trailer has been released! This is truly a teaser to get fans excited. It doesn’t show much action, but it definitely sets the tone for what the game will be offering.
The story is set in the future in a battle-torn New York City and follows a surviving Ninja Turtle who embarks on a seemingly hopeless mission to seek justice for the family she lost. Michelangelo is the only survivor.
The series intricately combines classic elements of TMNT with new and darker themes and offers a great storytelling and a great visual style.
The story comes from Kevin Eastmann, Peter Laird, Tom Waltz, Well Bishop, Luis Antonio Delgado, Esau AND Isaac Escorza. It’s unknown if they’re involved in the game in any way, but the teaser mentions them.
There is no release window for the game yet, but we do know that the game will release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC platforms.
