Magnet Releasing has shared a trailer for its upcoming religious horror film Deliver us. The film centers around a nun who lives in a remote cabin and she claims that she is pregnant by her immaculate conception. As you may have guessed, the story takes a terrifying turn for her.
The story is “sparked by a nun in a remote convent who claims she is pregnant with the immaculate conception. The Vatican sends a team of priests to investigate. There are fears that this nun may be the beginning of an ancient prophecy and that she will give birth to twins, one the Messiah, the other the Antichrist.
Deliver us is directed by Lee Roy Kunz AND Cru Ennis (Delirium) and start Thomas Kretschmann (Infinity pool, King Kong), Alexander Siddig (Clash of the Titans, Realm of Fire), AND Markho Leht (Wonder Woman).
The film will premiere at the Popcorn Frights Film Festival in Fort Lauderdale on August 10, 2023. It will then be released in theaters and VOD on September 29, 2023.
