I have a trailer here for you to watch for a lovely looking little animated film titled Robot dreams. The film has no dialogue and follows the adventures and misfortunes of Dog and Robot in New York in the 1980s.
The film is based on the popular graphic novel by Sara Varon and the synopsis reads: “The dog lives in Manhattan and is tired of being alone. One day after seeing a commercial on television, he decides to build himself a robot, a companion. Their friendship blossoms, until they become inseparable, to the rhythm of 80s New York. One summer night, Dog, with great sadness, is forced to leave Robot on the beach. Will they ever meet again?”
The film was written and directed by director Pablo Berger and toured film festivals. Neon has picked up the film and will be releasing it in the US, but no release date has been set yet. Can’t wait to watch it!
