Netflix has released the first trailer for its upcoming satirical documentary series, How to become a cult leader. The document offers an inside look at the “cult leader’s playbook for attaining unconditional love, unending devotion, and the power to control people’s minds, bodies, and souls.”
It’s your guide to recruiting a devoted cult following and is narrated by the actor Peter Dinklage. The document is “disguised as a guide to capturing a devoted cult following, this series of documents takes a tongue-in-cheek look at the rise of six famous flock leaders.”
How to become a cult leader is a streaming documentary series (with six episodes) made by Netflix and some of the cults they explore are Heaven’s Gate, The Manson Family, The People’s Temple and others.
The series is developed by Citizen Jones and will be released on Netflix on July 28.
