Marvel The Marvels reunite Brie Larson as Carol Danvers, Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau, e Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan for a wild new cosmic adventure and they will be joined by the Flerken, Goose. Goose was a fan-favorite character in the original Captain Marvel movie and he’s had some great times.
Well, according to the film’s executive producer, Mary Livanos, there are more fun surprises in store for Goose at The Marvel’s. She said in a recent interview with EW, “Goose is her own person. She’s full of surprises and definitely has a lot in store throughout this story.”
It was also explained that there were kittens on the film set with Livanos saying, “The crew were overjoyed whenever the kittens were around. It was like Christmas when we had our older kittens scenes. Everyone had their own favorite”.
Chances are these kitties are Flerkens as well. Another fun aspect of all the cats in the film is that Brie Larson is allergic to them, so all the scenes she shares with Goose in close proximity to Carol and the kittens are purely CGI. Larson said, “I’m still allergic. I hope that changes. But until she does, a lot of the CGI budget goes to me and the cat.”
The film follows the events of Mrs. Marvel and sees Captain Marvel, Ms. Marvel and Monica Rambeau unexpectedly switch places every time they use their powers, so they must work together to figure out why. The film also sees the return of the franchise Samuel L.Jackson, Saagar Shaikh, Zenobia ShroffAND Mohan Kapur. New cast members include Zawe Ashton AND Seo-joon Park.
The synopsis of the film reads: “Carol Danvers AKA Captain Marvel reclaimed her identity from the tyrannical Kree and took her revenge on the Supreme Intelligence. wormhole connected to a Kree revolutionary, her powers are intertwined with those of Jersey City super fan Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel, and Carol’s estranged granddaughter, now the SABER astronaut, Captain Monica Rambeau.
The wonders will be released in theaters on November 10.
