Before Zechariah Levi turned into the DC superhero Shazam!, he was best known for playing Chuck Bartowski, accidental CIA agent in the hit series Spindle. The show ran for five seasons, from 2007 to 2012, and jumpstarted the career of Levi, as well as his co-star Yvonne Strahovski, who received two Emmy nominations for her role on the series. The Handmaid’s Tale.
The show was a lot of fun as both an action series and a comedy, and its diehard fan base kept crossing their fingers for a follow-up film for years. But while we wait for that chance, we have another project to look forward to: a rewatch podcast, with none other than Zachary Levi himself hosting the show.
The news came when Levi was asked on Twitter if he’d be willing to appear on a fan-hosted rewatch podcast series, and Levi confirmed he’d be busy hosting his own.
We have no news of the podcast yet, but stay tuned and we’ll keep you posted so you can follow the show as soon as it’s up and running. For now, you can always review Spindle on Primo.
