Lucasfilm has released a new promotional video for Star Wars: Ahsokawhich is called “Journey To Ahsoka” and focuses on Rosario DawsonStar Wars journey to become the live-action version of the fan favorite Star Wars character. His journey has led to his own solo series, which Dave Filoni is writing and directing, and the latest trailer that has been released has gotten Star Wars super excited fans!
The official logline reads: “Set after the fall of the Empire, Star Wars: Ahsoka follows former Jedi Knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy.”
The show will pick up where Star Wars Rebels left off and begin the search for Ezra Bridger. Set after the fall of the Empire, Ahsoka “follows former Jedi Knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy.”
That threat is Grand Admiral Thrawn (Lars Mikkelsen), which we get a first look in the trailer, and Ezra took off with him to an unknown location. Sabine (Natasha Liu Bordizzo) joins Ahsoka on her journey, and is still very dedicated to finding Ezra. They will be joined by Hera Syndulla (Mary Elizabeth Winstead), most likely the droid, Chopper and Zeb will also return.
The series is also starring Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker, Ivanna Sakhno, Eman Esfandi like Ezra, Ray Stevenson such as Baylon, e Ivanna Sakhno like ShinHati.
The limited series is written by Dave Filoni which produces executive along with Jon Favreau AND Kathleen Kennedy.
Ahsoka will debut on Disney+ on August 23, 2023.
