The new DEADPOOL 3 set photo teases the wild connection with 20th Century Fox

With Deadpool 3 deep into the production the photos from the set keep coming out! Yesterday, Ryan Reynolds shared one of his features Deadpool and Hugh JackmanWolverine is out and about, and Wolverine was wearing his classic yellow costume! That was definitely an emotional photo that got fans excited!

Now, today we have a new photo to share with you that teases the film’s shocking connection to 20th Century Fox. This is the setting of a fight involving Wolverine and Deadpool and includes the ruins of the 20th Century Fox logo in the background.

This obviously references the studio that produced all of the X-Men movies before Disney bought them, and confirms that Deadpool 3 will reference its predecessors in a very big and meta way. It’ll be fine!

I can see this movie as a journey for Deadpool and Wolverine as they make their way from 20th Century Fox to Marvel Studios’ MCU. Reynolds previously shared a Deadpool-Wolverine storyline that was planned before Disney bought Fox, saying, “It was going to be a Deadpool-Logan road trip. Rashmon style. Really.” Maybe that’s it, as they make their way to the MCU.

Speaking earlier about the version of Wolverine that this film will include, Reynolds explained that it will be very different from what we are used to: “What we proposed [Jackman] it was enough of a departure from the character he knows and the character he’s left behind, that it gives him something completely new to play and something he’s really excited to do.”

There’s going to be two different versions of Wolverine in the movie, so that’s going to be interesting. It was also recently confirmed Jennifer garner will return as Elektra in the film and there are reports that several other X-Men characters could appear as Halle Berry like storm, Famke Janssen such as Jean Grey, e James Marden back to playing Cyclops! There are also reports that Ben Affleck will appear in the film as Daredevil and Channing Tatum appearing as Gambit. It was also previously reported that Deadpool 3 will feature more than two variants of Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool and two variants of Wolverine.

The film is directed by Shawn Leviand the film also acts Emma Corrin like the bad guy, Morena Baccarin AND Stefan Kapicic as Vanessa and Colossus, Matthew Macfadyen in an unknown role, Karan Soni as Dopinder, e Leslie Uggams in the role of Al blind. They are united by Brianna Hildebrand AND Shioli Kutsuna he will also return to the franchise as Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Negasonic Teenage Warhead’s girlfriend, Yukio.

Deadpool 3 is currently slated for a theatrical release on May 3, 2024.
