I go out a lot to explore areas of ancient civilizations in the US, there are so many interesting things out there that people don’t know about, and it’s places of ancient history that you can actually see and touch. I love this kind of stuff!

Humans have been around for about 350,000 years, but it’s only been a short time since they started to group together into what we call civilizations. In all of our history on this planet, humans have only been civilized for about 10,000 years thanks to the development of agriculture, animal husbandry, and eventually, writing. Of the thousands of civilizations that have existed, most have disappeared. Few have remained in the same place where they originated like the Chinese or the Egyptians, while most have become extinct. Many ancient civilizations have existed throughout human history, but some have lasted longer than one might believe.
