Wild Adam I had the opportunity to visit the Propstore recently to check out a number of great props from some of our favorite movies. In this video from Tested, Savage gets a close-up look at The Thing’s Norris Spider-Head. This is one of the scariest creature effects in film!
When I still remember the feeling of absolute fear I had when I first saw this thing when I watched this movie as a kid. The shivers that ran down my spine were a new feeling of fear for me. Damn… this movie is great! The video came with the following note:
Movie fans will recognize this creature from the 1982 sci-fi horror classic The Thing! The Norris Spider-Head is undoubtedly one of the most memorable and terrifying creature effects in the film, and we take a look at a hyper-realistic model created by Rob Bottin’s effects team during the production of the film. An amazing prop from one of our favorite movies!
