On August 11, get ready to delve into the dark origins of one of Spain’s most terrifying characters. Filmax has released the final trailer for ‘The Bogeyman’, the new masterpiece by Ángel Gómez, the genius of the magnificent film “Voices”. This thrilling film will hit theaters to test your mettle.

The story takes place after the death of the father of three brothers, forced to move with their mother to a small town. They soon discover that there have been mysterious disappearances of several children in the area over the past few months. Intrigued and fearful, they will embark on an exciting adventure to unravel the hidden truth behind the terrifying legend known as The Bogeyman.

Actor Javier Botet, recognized for his roles in ‘IT: Chapter 1 and 2’, ‘Mom’ and the saga “[•REC]”, becomes the very incarnation of the Boogeyman. Accompanying him, we find Goya nominee Macarena Gómez, who surprised us with her talent in productions such as “30 Coins”, “Shrews” and “Las brujas de Zugarramurdi”.
