If you thought you knew everything you needed to know Poison, you would be wrong. He was recently confirmed in Marvel Comics Poison #22 that Venom’s web fluid comes from his poop. Venom has always had the ability to shoot webs thanks to the symbiote suit that attaches to hosts. But now we have new insight into where that web fluid is coming from, and it’s disgusting, but also pretty awesome.
So now, whenever we see Venom shooting his webs, we know it’s actually the host’s poop! That’s amazing information! In the comic, Venom is currently being hosted by Eddie Brock’s son Dylan, and the revelation comes when he’s battling Flexo, who is another symbiote that has ties to Marvel Comics from over eight decades ago.
Venom tells Dylan, “If you want more web fluid after this, we gotta eat. Something human-sized.” When Flexo notices the fluid, Venom tells him, “It’s symbiote waste. I store it and then shoot threads of it all over town. Don’t blame me – that’s how I was raised.”
It’s just insane that Venom swings from his poop webs and even shoots people in the face with his poop web from time to time, so it’s fun for those people!
So there you have it, we just learned something crazy new about Venom today!
